  • Tax Credits for Scholarships (EITC) — for Pennsylvania Businesses
If your business or company pays Pennsylvania Corporate Income Tax or certain other state business taxes, you can donate to the Frankford Friends School Scholarship Fund in lieu of paying up to $300,000 in Pennsylvania business taxes.

New for 2008–09: Sub-S Corporations and Partnerships can now participate fully in the tax credit program! Tax credits will flow through to shareholders’ or partners’ personal income tax returns.

Combined with federal tax savings, the cost of donating can be close to zero. That’s because this is a tax creditnot a deduction. At almost no cost, your company can help make a Frankford Friends education available to a local low-income family.

  • Corporate Matching Gifts
Many donations qualify for corporate matches. Often, gifts from retirees and spouses of employees also qualify. The donor should obtain a matching gift form from the company’s personnel office, complete the form and mail it in along with the gift. The Development Office will then certify the receipt of the gift and return the form to the company.

  • Appreciated Securities
A gift of appreciated securities can bring greater tax savings than a gift of cash. If you would like wire transfer instructions, please call or email Amy O’Leary, Director of Development, at 610-917-2222.

  • Planned Gifts
