In 2001, FFS made a long-awaited dream come true by adding middle school grades 7 and 8. To accommodate this welcome expansion, the school rents space in the neighborhood to serve as a temporary home for its middle school classrooms. To secure the future of FFS, however, a new building is greatly needed. The building, which will include a multi-purpose room and a dedicated music room, will beautifully complement the campus, unite all classrooms on the same grounds, and ensure optimal enrollment.
The 1833 Circle of Giving
Many FFS parents and other generous community members have pledged to give $20, $50, $100 or more monthly over a period of three years in order to make the dream a reality. People whose cumulative giving totals $1,833 or more will be listed on the “1833 Circle of Giving” plaque on the exterior of the new building. For more information, including building plans, latest construction news, status of the Fund, and a list of our generous donors including the “1833 Circle of Giving” click here to visit the Growing Community Blog: Design, construction, and fundraising news on the new building.
