ABOUT US

Frankford Friends School has a main school building housing offices, a lunchroom, and grades first through fifth, and the historic meeting house with the pre kindergarten and kindergarten rooms. The Middle School (sixth, seventh and eighth grades) is located around the corner from the school at 1528 Gillingham Street.

Frankford Friends School is committed to the development of the whole child in an atmosphere which allows each child to develop a sense of self-worth. Through a challenging academic program we strive to develop a thorough understanding of basic concepts, clear and logical thinking, and the ability to communicate ideas.

The Friends’ belief in simplicity and peaceful approaches to problem solving is reflected in the classroom and on the playground. We seek to nurture within each child a respect for, and a sensitivity to, others - encouraging cooperation rather than competition.
